Antti Uimonen

Antti is a performer, choreographer, and artistic researcher based in Amsterdam. Antti’s practice is based on breakdance, performance art, and Futures Studies. Within Hip-hop, Antti has over 20 years of experience in breakdance, is a three-time Finnish Champion, and has worked as a teacher and event producer in Finland and abroad. In addition to his own artistic work, Antti facilitates research projects by using embodied knowledge as a primary source for speculation. He works at Den Haag University of Applied Sciences and in the Xulu202X project in Oulu, Finland, as part of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture project.
