JITSVINGER is widely known as the multiple award-winning performing artist from Cape Town who coined the term Afrikaaps. His art of spoken word and poetry, along with his unique music style, became the catalyst for his ongoing work in education and social justice programmes. Rooted in social awareness, Jitsvinger has guest lectured, facilitated music, creative writing- and poetry workshops with youth in high school and tertiary institutions, prisons and non-governmental organisations.
