Khaira Boukhatem

Khairah Boukhatem is a PhD researcher at the University of Southampton, supported by the Leverhulme Doctoral Scholarships Programme for Interdisciplinary Resilience Studies. Her approach is highly interdisciplinary, drawing from studies of cultural memory, political history, and systems theory. Her PhD project investigates Hip Hop as cultural expression and language in the context of resilience, and as a response to the disruptions of the global polycrisis.
