Alex Stevenson

Alex Stevenson is Course Director for post graduate music and sound courses in Leeds School of Arts at Leeds Beckett University where he predominately teaches modules in creative studio production, production analysis and mixing practice. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and member of the Society for Music Production Research and IASMP UK and Ireland. He has published chapters and articles on topics related to UK Hip Hop, Popular Music Education, Mixing Practice and Electronic Music. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Musicology at the University of Oslo exploring the performance of machine aesthetics in popular music.
