Jean-Philippe Clotaire a.k.a. Kednop
Jean-Philippe Clotaire, also known as Kednop, started rapping in 1998 in Guadeloupe, a Caribbean island, during his teenage years. With his first group, Raizcoast, he developed his style and sharpened his lyrics with a purist hip-hop spirit. Meanwhile, he studied philosophy in Toulouse, southern France, and became a high school philosophy teacher. This path led him to bridge philosophy and hip-hop, using rap as a teaching tool to engage students and enhance learning. He also founded the association “Le Phil du Flow,” offering rap and philosophy workshops in places like hospitals and prisons.
