Luna KONDOMBO is a Ph.D. student at Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris, France. Her research focuses on representations of black femininities in hip-hop music and the transnational circulation of these representations in France, United States and England. She also studies the role social media play in the process of circulation of that aesthetics. Her research focuses on contemporary black female rappers, from 2010 to 2023. Her fields of research are cultural studies, hip hop, performance studies, transnational studies, and media studies.
